The invention relates to a detection device and method for the descending braking distance of a bridge crane lifting mechanism, which includes:
Brake power-off sensor: sensing and detecting the trigger signal formed at the moment of power-off of the brake control power supply;
Digital sensor: in contact with the wire rope drum and emitting pulse signals;
Measuring device: receiving and measuring the sensor pulse signals after the trigger signal and displaying them;
Error correction device: eliminating measurement errors caused by the width and depth of the rope groove and the diameter of the wire rope.
The invention can reasonably select the test location, fully utilize sensor technology, and accurately measure the braking distance when the load of the lifting mechanism descends. It provides a quantitative testing device for the overall performance assessment of cranes, type assessment, and safety performance inspection of in-service cranes, offering a scientific basis for the braking performance and adjustment status of the brake.
