What does the transformed Jiaozuo Brake look like? Recently, reporters visited the Jiaozuo Brake Industrial Park, which was relocated to the industrial gathering area in Bo'ai County, to find out. On the automatic production line of wind power brake truss mechanical arms, reporters saw that a cluster of mechanical manufacturing processing centers composed of seven processing centers only required two technical personnel to oversee, with all processes completed automatically by mechanical arms, making it the only company in the country that can compete with foreign manufacturers. According to the company's deputy general manager Guo Xiwen, to adapt to the rapidly developing wind power market, Jiaozuo Brake specially developed wind power brakes that can replace foreign imports, and the project for 36,000 sets of megawatt-level wind power yaw brake systems has been included in the national key industry revitalization and technological transformation new central budget investment plan. Through the implementation of the relocation project, the production capacity of wind power brakes has reached 20,000 sets.
Such forward-thinking awareness is no coincidence. As early as the "Seventh Five-Year Plan" period, Jiaozuo Brake, founded in 1964, exclusively introduced the production technology of the ED series from the former Federal Republic of Germany's EMG company and disc brake technology from France's ATV company. On this basis, Jiaozuo Brake invested heavily to establish the only national laboratory for industrial brakes in China. After continuous digestion, absorption, and innovation of the introduced technology, it has now become a leading enterprise in the research, production, and sales of brakes in the country, with more than 10 products awarded national-level scientific and technological achievement awards and progress awards, 6 products awarded national-level new product awards, 12 products recognized as provincial high-tech products, and 17 national patents.
Accordingly, Jiaozuo Brake firmly occupies the brake market of the Jiuquan, Xichang, and Taiyuan satellite launch bases. The Shenzhou VI and Shenzhou VII spacecraft, which have attracted national attention, are designated to use Jiaozuo Brake products. In addition, all major national construction projects designate Jiaozuo Brake as the brake supplier. During the globally watched opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, all 40 sets of brakes used during the flipping process of the 8 large lifting platforms and the 50-ton Olympic main torch installation were produced by Jiaozuo Brake.
It is understood that the Jiaozuo Brake Industrial Park, which started construction in May 2009, includes projects such as industrial brakes, wind power brakes, mud pump products, and a provincial brake technology center, with a total investment of about 540 million yuan. After the project is completed, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 75,000 sets of industrial brakes and 36,000 sets of wind power brakes, which can generate additional sales revenue of 750 million yuan and additional tax revenue of 240 million yuan.
