Industrial brakes are an important safety device in various mechanical equipment and are widely used in the equipment manufacturing industry. Different types of equipment manufacturing industries have different requirements for the functions of brakes, leading to distinct application characteristics across industries. Based on the performance and technology of brake products, they can be divided into three categories: low-end products, mid-range products, and high-end products. Low-end products have outdated structures, low technical content, low configuration and processing precision, poor reliability, and short service life, only providing users with basic braking functionality. Currently, they are only used in some traditional ordinary small-tonnage lifting and transportation equipment. Due to the low market entry threshold for low-end products, many small manufacturers have entered the market, resulting in a vicious competition scenario where they undercut each other’s prices to capture market share, leading to reduced quality to maintain profitability. Mid-range and high-end products feature innovative structures, high technical content, high configuration and processing precision, high reliability, and long service life, with complete additional functions. They can achieve automated operation integration with the main machine's control, making them the mainstream products in the current brake industry, widely used in various technologically advanced, highly automated new, large, specialized, and critical main equipment. With the development of various industries, the demand for brakes in large lifting equipment is gradually increasing. These mechanical devices have high requirements for the performance and safety of brakes. Currently, domestic technology still has some shortcomings, so it mainly relies on imports. As domestic technology matures, it is believed that domestic low, mid-range, and high-end products will have good development.
